Pain-Reducing Crutches

The M+D Crutch Design Refocuses the Pressure from the Armpit to the Elbow

To alleviate the pain injured patients feel when walking on crutches, Mobility Designed is a brand revolutionizing the traditional crutch design with a redirection of pressure from the armpit to the elbow. The crutches, known as the M+D Crutch, features a newly designed structure that reduces stress on the body while providing the support the patient needs to recover.

The M+D Crutch is designed to apply pressure to the stronger pressure points in the body that can take on the added stress. With a new design, the M+D Crutch straps onto the arm connecting at the elbow. Patients can then hold an added handle for support while the pressure is centre around the forearm allowing the user to lift their arms as needed while still supporting themselves on the crutch for an added range of motion.
