Glorious Greek God-Like Photography

Tim Tadder and Cristian Girotto Create 'Sculpture Athletes'

‘Sculpture Athletes’ is a collaborative project between advertising photographer Tim Tadder and digital artist and retoucher Cristian Girotto.

The collaboration between the two artists was born out of Tim Tadder’s desire to create a series of photographs that recreated "some of the most classic athlete statues from antiquity." Tadder reached out to Cristian after seeing some of his prior work, and the result of their partnership is ‘Sculpture Athletes.’ The poses of these athletes are reminiscent of ancient Greek sculptures and Cristian’s "glass/porcelain skin type overlay" creates an incredible effect whereby the muscle definition is enhanced and the athletes appear to be sculptures made from glass.

‘Sculpture Athletes’ is an incredibly beautiful and unique piece of art. Hopefully Tim Tadder and Cristian Girotto will collaborate again soon.
