The Electric-Powered Cri-Cri Airplane Sets a New Flying Record

The French-made electric airplane Cri-Cri has broken a previous record set in 2009 by an Italian team. The electric airplane successfully completed a flight using only 75 percent of its power.

The Cri-Cri airplane features two 35-horsepower electric motors fitted with custom propellers specially designed for the flying machine. The airplane's electric motors are made by Electravia and provide a maximum speed of 162 mph.
