Realistic Colorful Crayon Artwork

Herb Williams's Crayon Sculptures are Stunning and Vibrant

Using one of the most iconic of childish creations, Herb Williams managed to give Crayola crayons a whole new purpose in life by using thousands of them to make stunning and realistic crayon artwork.

"My intent is to continue to seriously create art that looks at itself unseriously," says Williams about his amazing life-size crayon artwork.

Williams uses these iconic objects to explore taboo subjects such as sexuality, religion and social hierarchy, and then reintroduce them to the audience in an original subtext using only colorful crayons.

Using this technique to get people to notice serious issues (like wildfire and nature scenes,) Williams meticulously created sculptures that are so overwhelming in their magnitude, that you literally are in awe of them.
