Global Beer Dinners

Lawry’s Serves Food and Craft Beer Pairings from Around the World

With micro-breweries appearing all over the world and a number of beer brews being crafted specifically for fine dining, craft beer pairings are becoming a popular replacement for wine. Lawry’s The Prime Rib recently ran an event that paired six global craft beers with six items off of its restaurant menu.

Some of these indulgent items on the six-course menu include grilled seafood paired with a Tuatara Aotearoa Pale Ale, smoked salmon served with a hoppy Japanese Baird Teikoku IPA, as well as a set of ribs paired with a nutty all-American Rouge Hazelnut Brown Nectar.

As many consumers are making a conscious effort to consume mostly locally sourced food, pairing a seasonal dish with a local craft brew only helps to round out the dining experience all the more.
