What if fan favorite comic book characters were corporate sponsored superheroes? Artist Roberto Vergati Santos took that idea and created a whole collection of heroes sporting corporate logos from a range of companies.
Iron Man fights crime for McDonald's, Batman sports a large Nike swish logo, while the Flash, rather aptly. represents Red Bull. Other heroes depicted include Captain America (UPS, Burger Knife and Coca-Cola), the X-Men (for Adidas) and the Incredible Hulk (Monster Energy Drink).
These corporate sponsored superheroes are both humorous and a source of social commentary on the growing power of capitalism in the world. In a world where corporations endorse athletes, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine that they would leap at the chance to sponsor the world's greatest heroes if they existed.
