'Cookbook Create' Contains Recipes from SXSW Tech Bigwigs

The SXS 2014 festival had a number of highlights, but the tastiest attraction of all was 'Cookbook Create,' the official SXSW 2014 Interactive Cookbook.

While famous tech personalities and innovators are an annual feature at SXSW with their speeches and presentations, it's difficult to get a look at what their day-to-day lives are like. The SXSW 2014 Interactive Cookbook aims to do just that by compiling 100 recipes from famous tech figures.

Founder and CEO of 'Cookbook Create' Anna Curran says, she "thought it would be great fun to get to hear what past [SXSW] speakers make at home and get a peek into their personal style beyond the public sphere."

The result is an interactive cookbook containing recipes for such delights as 'Mama Crowley's Mac & Cheese' (by Foursquare CEO Denise Crowley), 'Black Light Cocktails' (by MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito). The book also includes an article called 'How To Order Takeout' by Craigslist founder, and apparently reluctant chef, Craig Newmark.
