The Genki Convert Dock Will Be Able to Connect the Switch to a TV

Genki has created its new Convert Dock for the Nintendo switch. The Nintendo Switch is known for its ability to connect to outside devices like a TV. However, the only docking mechanics capable were provided by Nintendo. Up until recently, there were no functioning third party docking systems for the Nintendo Switch. However, Genki's Convert Dock looks to be the first device to provide docking for the Switch that was not produced by Nintendo.

The dock will be able to produce 30W of power and the company states that it will also be compatible as a USB-C dock for other devices like laptops or phones. Genki is currently funding the device through a campaign on Kickstarter, with early pricing for the device set at $49.
