Last fall, we brought you Converse’s Black Sabbath-inspired shoes, and the Metallica and AC/DC trainers released by Converse are no less badass.
Creating sneakers themed after musicians is a good idea on paper, but I am not convinced it works in practice. The designs don’t massively win me over, but are due out in Autumn 2009 in a ‘Rock’ collection based entirely around the gods of rock that are AC/DC and Metallica.
There are five Chuck Taylor high-top designs and one low-top pair in the collection, all featuring iconic imagery from these bands’ legendary careers.
