This isn't the first time Converse has incorporated Mario designs having adorned the Chuck Taylor Hi's with graphics from the iconic game. While the previous releases have been impressive, this one is probably the best. The subtlety of the Converse One Star Super Mario Bros OX gives the sneaker a cleaner, but better look that's easy on the eyes. The retro pixelated remains with an 8-bit Mario and the Power Star gracing its presence on the design. The leather upper also brings a nice change from the canvas material for a slicker look.
