Gucci Vault Continues Collaborating on the Continuum Collection

The Continuum Collection by luxury sub-label Gucci Vault continues. Since the unexpected partnership with Vans that resulted in high-fashion reincarnations of some of the footwear brand's most classic silhouettes, Gucci Vault has been working with Japanese brand Proleta Re Art (and the artist PROT who is behind the label). This has resulted in a brand new installment of the Continuum Collection. Aesthetically, the drop draws inspiration from raw materials and deconstructed/distressed design sensibilities. The collaboration delivers a denim trucker jacket and jeans combination. Both of the silhouettes were pulled from a recent Gucci collection, creating a certain sense of synergy between the luxury house and its sub-label. Proleta Re Art reworked the garments, relying on traditional Japanese boro techniques.
