The Brooklyn Garden Studio is a tiny dwelling located in the backyard of a ground-level apartment. The building encompasses 55 square feet, making it the perfect size for reading or taking a nap. Because it is detached from the home itself, the dwelling provides a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle or city life. To keep the contemporary backyard studio simple, Hunt chose clean and simple finishes such as wooden walls and salvaged cedar siding. The dwelling even boasts an angled roof that allows rainwater to gently fall off of the top and down the side walls.
