Kid-Created Autonomous Machines

Volvo and LEGO are Creating Futuristic Construction Machines

The LEGO Technic Volvo Concept Wheel Loader ZEUX set is scheduled to hit toy stores this August, along with a digital prototype for an autonomous construction machine.

When LEGO and Volvo initially came together for a team-building event in 2016, they found the inspiration for a real LEGO Technic product, as well as the potential to reshape real-world construction vehicles of the future. LEGO and Volvo further refined their ideas with the aid of young kids, who helped to push the creativity and possibilities for the concept.

The 42081 Volvo Concept Wheel Loader ZEUX is touted as a futuristic LEGO Technic concept model with a working boom and bucket, a mapping drone, articulated four-wheel steering and an Eye function to connect interactions between humans and the machine.
