Orange Investments opted out of providing those simple little trays for its employees to manage their business card collections, instead enlisting some help for the design of the Conicos Cardholder. Jakob Gómez of Monterrey, Mexico, took a very unexpected angle, producing a sleek piece that almost completely conceals its function.
First of all, the base of the bullet-shaped card stand can be removed to reveal a tiny dish for stashing secret items. The upper portion of the office accessory is a stack of tapering rings that form a pointy cone in stainless steel. It's between these metal bands that bits of paper can be securely tucked. Seven circular slots can accommodate at least that many company credentials; however, you can fit multiple into the larger lower rings of the Conicos Card Holder.
