Modern Concrete Homeware

LaSelva's Concrete Accessories Use Mixed Material and Interesting Shapes

'LaSelva,' a product design studio that's based in Valencia and Mexico City, created a series of concrete accessories with help from 'Más' and Iván Zúñiga.

The resulting collection includes a number of vases, plates, serving and decorative dishes, trays and candle holders. Though the main material used for the homeware pieces is concrete, the series incorporates wood and metal accents as well.

These parts are made to be removable so that consumers can easily clean the concrete accessories and the products are better able to perform a function. For example, the 'Radial' vases within the collection are made with a lightweight metal insert that holds flowers but can be taken out so that the vase can be filled with water.
