This complex church is aptly titled as the 100 Walls Church in Cebu City, and was designed by New York architects CAZA.
CAZA explains that they wanted to design a space that allowed people to search for meaning. CAZA designed the exterior of the church to symbolize mysterious and sometimes complicated meanings behind the nature of religion. This church is symbolic far beyond the daily prayers. Structured with 100 white walls, it allows people to find a quiet spot while still being amongst members of the clergy. The different hight walls symbolize the importance of searching high and low for new meaning, in order to understand more about ourselves and life.
For those who don't frequently go to church, this building and architecture can still be appreciated for its clean yet intricate designs.
