There’s no doubt that comic books have changed the world, but to what extent is something most people won’t realize, it’s been showcased as an influencer in televisions, movies and especially in the arts, as showcased in these portait comic book collages.
Created by artist Sandra Chevrier, these mashed-up comic book strip renderings combine the world of modern art and comic books in awesome glory. Chevrier used watercolor, acrylic paints and pencils to produce these one of a kind renderings. The faces on the portraits showcase characters from various comic book series from Batman to Supergirl. It doesn’t take an art or comic book enthusiast to realize how beautiful these mashed-up renderings are, because anyone can appreciate something that has comic books integrated in them.
