Legal Condition Comics

An Illustrator Created This Comic Adaptation of the iTunes Legal Terms

This graphic novel by Robert Sikoryak is a comic adaptation of the entirety of Apple's legal terms and conditions for iTunes users.

It may seem like an impossible and incomprehensible task to most people, but Sikoryak undertook a comic adaptation of each word of the iTunes terms and conditions. In each page of the graphic novel, Sikoryak replicates the style of a different comic book artist. He perfectly mimics the illustrations of a number of world-famous artists, including Hergé and Rube Goldberg. He also morphs the words of the iTunes agreement into different scenarios that sometimes visually mirror what's happening in the text and sometimes ignore it in favor of more exciting graphics.

This comic adaptation is perhaps an odd undertaking, but today's Internet culture provides a means to showcase works of independent art that may only appeal to niche consumers.
