The Mekong Dangerous spiced coffee spirit has been debuted from Wild East Liquor as an exotic, absinthe-based libation that takes an unexpected approach to spirits. The product starts off with absinthe that has been distilled before being cold brewed with coffee for a series of many days and then paired with additional spices sourced from the Mekong region. The product thus maintains strong roots to Southeast Asia and comes in with a 35% ABV in a variety of size options including 700ml, 20-liter and 200-liter sizes, while a 50ml miniature is expected later this year.
The Mekong Dangerous spiced coffee spirit is slated to roll out in Vietnam, Cambodia, Germany, Switzerland, the Baltics and Uganda this month at a starting price point of around €19.
