Slow-Paced Coffee Shops

Milky's Cloud Room Coffee Shop Encourages Patrons to Slow Down and Relax

Full Fat Design designed a coffee shop that encourages patrons to take a moment and pause. Milky's Cloud Room is located in Toronto, Canada, built inside an old shipping container.

The designers wanted to create a space that embraced slow coffee, and to do so, the Full Fat Design erected a charming and warm space that invites patrons to stop and pause.

Located in Toronto's Stackt Market, this coffee shop boasts an industrial aesthetic on the outside and a soft and contemporary feeling from the inside. The interior space is covered from wall to ceiling in dimensional travertine patterns and carefully placed lights. The dimensionality of the textured walls and floors create a unique play of light and a cloud-like feel. From the sculptural details, special lighting, to overall tranquil sensibility, the Cloud Room coffee shop is a place you don't want to rush out of.
