Plus-Size Clothing Apps

The 'Curvsi' App Helps Women Buy and Sell Plus-Sized Fashion Products

Curvsi is an innovative clothing app that is designed to empower women who wear sizes 10 and up to purchase and sell both new and worn clothing.

The app, developed by New York-based innovator Kayla Rose, targets plus-size women who may have trouble finding clothing that both fits their size and suits their style requirements when shopping in conventional fashion stores. The app is free to download, and allows users to sell clothes, for which Curvsi takes 20 percent of proceeds.

One of the most serious and longstanding problems with traditional fashion retailers is the fact that they design most of their clothing to fit an exceptionally limited segment of the population, unfairly leaving out plus-sized women who are left to contend with very limited selections.

However, body positivity is finally beginning to make a significant splash in modern pop culture, and with plus-sized women increasingly determined to exercise their right to broad fashion selections, there's no doubt that Curvsi is set to tap into a huge market while spreading a positive message about fashion and inclusivity.
