Disturbing Climate Crisis Ads

These Powerful Posters Highlight Earth’s Energy Realities

The Post Carbon Institute has teamed up with P.E.A.K (The Public Energy Art Kit) to create a project that sheds light on the climate crisis our world is facing. The advocates for environmental conservation have created a series of poster ads for the project that are alarming.

The illustrated posters were drawn by various artists, but each one contains images that exploit our energy sources and depict what to expect in the future if we keep up high energy usage.

Some of the photos display disturbing images of society as "Energy Slaves" and "Greed Goddesses," while others showcase our "Dark Futures," which are insignificant and completely engulfed with smog. However, one photo is more uplifting and depicts the power we have to change our ways; simple tasks like conserving water or riding a bike instead of driving can completely change our carbon footprint.
