Unemployed Recruitment Agencies

Clean Slate Supports People with Difficulties Getting a Job

Founded in 2006, Clean Slate is a recruitment agency and social enterprise that works to facilitate unemployed people in finding jobs. But more than that, however, they target those individuals who have significant difficulty in staying in long-term employment for whatever reason.

"Some of our workers have been out of work while raising a family, some are young and have never experienced employment, and some have overcome setbacks," they write on their website on the types of people they serve, train and employ. "All of them are ready to prove themselves on the job."

While there are many social enterprises engage in this type of model what makes Clean Slate spectacular is that it now runs a service directed to employers themselves so that, if they have even the slightest social goal in mind, they can find and hire people facing difficulties.
