Wood Melbourne and Georgina McWhirter Design the Chromablock

Australian design studio Wood Melbourne works in collaboration with design editor Geogine McWhirter on the new Chromablock collection. The range is full of dynamic and geometric faucet handles, delivering a playful and bright touch to what is usually made from reclaimed timber or concrete materials.

The new Chromablock series is made from resin materials and it highlights the Kahn or the Corbu. The Kahn is a cylindrical faucet shape and nods to the work of Louis Kahn and his admiration of circular structures. The Corbu has a cubic shape and nods to Le Corbusier. These can be used on bathroom tubs, showers, basins, and even kitchen sinks. They can be paired with other options from the brand's backplates as well.
