Hand-Painted Leather Jackets

This Christian Benner Jacket is an Artfully Splattered Custom Piece

This hand-painted leather jacket is a unique work of art by Christian Benner, a custom band t-shirt and outerwear artist based in New York City.

Christian Benner was first intrigued by fashion because of the DIY aesthetic of the punk scene of the late 70s and early 80s. He began to create his own unique clothing pieces based off of photos of the era. Inspired by the rock music he listens to, Christian Benner crafts one-of-a-kind leather jackets -- each piece is a wearable work of art.

This original jacket was inspired by country rock legend Ted Nugent, but looks like it could have been the work of Jackson Pollock. It's hand-treated and hand-painted, and is made of all-Canadian cowhide.
