Grooved Cutting Boards

The Chop Chopping Board Makes Food Transfers Neat, Easy and Convenient

As much as I love completely new design concepts, it is improved products like the Chop chopping board that really get my heart pumping. The reason for this is simply that I like it when people can look at an object that we often take for granted and see its obvious flaws.

In the case of the Chop chopping board, it addresses the fact that we often create a mess when cutting vegetables, fruits and other foods when transferring them from the cutting board to a plate. The groove in the Chop chopping board allows a seamless transfer since a plate can be slotted into it easily and conveniently.

The Chop chopping board was created by French designer Patrick Jouin for Alessi’s Fall and Winter 2010 collection.
