Artistic Chocolate Packaging

These Healthy Chocolates are Inspired by a Fictional Town

This vibrant chocolate packaging features illustrations that are themed after the fictional town 'Macondo.'

The fictional town comes from the famous book 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' which is set in Columbia. The packaging for these different chocolates was designed in a collaboration between illustrator Stephen Smith and design firm 'A-Side Studio.' Each package features different mystical illustrations that represent nature scenes, flowers, misshapen geometric shapes and bright pops of color. The artistic packaging clearly states where the cacao from each chocolate comes from as well as the percentage of it.

By using a classic South American novel to inspire the design of these chocolates, A-Side Studio has managed to create a familiarity between consumers and its product.
