This Playful Chocolate Dessert is Eaten with a Miniature Shovel

Some of the goodies that you'll find at the pop-up Bonsai Cafe in Japan include green matcha lattes decorated with trees, mossy green parfaits and even a chocolate dessert that's like a grown-up version of a mud pie. The standout is definitely the Bonsai Tiramisu, arranged to look like a scoop of dirt set into a teacup. The chocolatey crust can be devoured with a miniature shovel-shaped spoon, which makes the eating experience all the more novel. With more digging into the dessert, more delicious layers of tiramisu are unearthed.

In addition to being able to eat up some scrumptious treats from the menu, the cafe also serves as a place for people to learn about the art of bonsai care and keeping, in partnership with the Saitama Omiya Bonsai Museum.
