Childhood Film Auto Remakes

This 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' Replica is Straight From the Movies

The movie may be more than forty years old, but this real-life replica of the 1968 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' car is a blast from the past. Stuart Wallis from Hampshire England bought a 34-year-old Land Rover for a grand and a half to fulfill the challenge inspired by his daughter.

After three months of industrious efforts, the 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' car looks better than it did in the movie. Equipped with eight sets of horns, a 1,000W amplifier and booming speakers, the only thing this replica can't do is fly.
