Chiptune Christmas Songs

‘8 Bit Jesus' is Nerdtastic

‘8 Bit Jesus,’ a chiptune Christmas album from Doctor Octoroc, is a nerdtastic addition to this emerging music genre. There are 18 covers of classic Christmas songs made entirely with musical instruments fashioned from old video game consoles like Nintendo and Atari.

I’ve written about 8-bit and chiptune music before. Something about the genre fascinates me. Are they nerds with genuine musical talent, or just geeks who never grew up?

The album is free to download, but for your listening pleasure I’ve included three tracks for you to preview below.
