Anna Skladmann Portrays Elite Russian Kids in Provactive Poses

This collection of images from photographer Anna Skladmann’s ‘Little Adults’ series was intended to showcase the lifestyles of privileged children in Russia.

Skladmann describes the project as an exploration of the recently growing society of the ‘Nouveau-Riche’ in which Russian children have been raised to become the ‘elite’ and behave like little adults.

There has been a lot of debate over the years surrounding the issue of parents who dress and encourage their children to act as miniature grown-ups. These contrived and unnatural looking images would be perfect fuel to fire up that debate again.
