Revisited Childhood Drawings

Telmo Pieper Creates Digital Versions of Art Made at the Age of Four

The childhood drawings you did as a kid might have been displayed on the fridge for a little while before they disappeared into some storage box forever, but in a new series, artist Telmo Pieper is digging up the past to revive drawings he made as a four-year-old.

In his youth, Pieper drew things like whales, cars, bears and snails, which can be seen in the corners of his new digital drawings that take inspiration from his surreal childhood artwork. The Kiddie Art Series is a fun way to merge imagination from past with the artist's skills at present. In the case of something like his drawing of a shark, it really wasn't too far off, but Pieper's drawing of a brown Grizzly is adorably teddy bear-like.
