Chieftec introduced the BW-01B-OP, a UNI Series ATX workstation chassis designed for professional users managing large data sets, featuring an emphasis on high internal storage capacity and flexible cooling options. The steel enclosure measured 510×200×465mm and included a hinged front door, a preinstalled 120mm PWM HDB rear fan, and support for multiple front and top fans as well as 240mm or 360mm radiators when the upper 5.25in bay was unused.
The BW-01B-OP offered two tool-less 5.25in external bays, six 3.5in trays and four 2.5in trays on a removable cage system, plus rubber-grommeted cable routing for cleaner builds. Internally it supported CPU coolers up to 157mm, GPUs to 310mm (410mm with the 2.5in cage removed), seven expansion slots and an ATX PSU up to 160mm.
For creators and IT pros, the case prioritized practical expandability and maintainability with front I/O including USB-C and USB 3.0, removable dust filters and a 24-month warranty, making it a useful option for storage-heavy workstation builds.
