Chick-fil-A is Adding Mobile Order Pickup Lanes to Over 300 Restaurants

Chick-fil-A is adjusting its format strategy to cater to more specific customer needs, especially for mobile customers. This new customer service strategy focuses on integrating mobile order pickup lanes, with an intention to introduce 'Mobile Thru' lanes in over 300 of its restaurant locations across the nation by next year.

Consumers are able to designate 'Mobile Thru' as their preferred pickup point when placing their orders through the Chick-fil-A mobile application. Upon reaching the restaurant, customers will be guided by signage directing them to the designated Mobile Thru lane, and they will be prompted to scan a provided QR code to pick up their order.

"Our hope with Mobile Thru is to help guests experience the drive-thru quicker than ever before. By dedicating one of our lanes exclusively for mobile order pickup, we are creating an easier and more efficient experience for our guests on the go," Julie Ledford, principal program lead on Chick-fil-A’s Service and Hospitality team, said in a statement.
