General Motors makes one mean looking police patrol vehicle. The Chevy Caprice PPV recently debuted at the Chicago Auto Show, decked out in an array of crime-fighting goodies.
Although the exterior of the Chevy Caprice PPV looks pretty standard for a modern cop car, the interior contains some of the most recent technology and safety designs that Chevy has to offer. For the Peace Officer, Chevy included entry/exit enhancements, weapon stowage, and an integrated Toughbook console FTW.
Implications - First off, I must say, this is a car that lets you know it's special right off the bat with its name -- the Chevy Caprice PPV. My previous experience with Pay-Per-Views is related to exorbitantly priced wrestling, MMA, and boxing events. It's suitable for this car, complete with a E85-compatible 6.0 liter V8, 355 horsepower, and 385 pound-feet of torque.
The cops are rolling hard and in style -- about time.
