Swedish brand Cheap Monday's 'Mindless Optimism' collection for Spring 2015 is insatiably fun.
The collection is made up of garments ornamented with doodles, scribbles and lots and lots of color. The sporty silhouettes, from biker cuts to longer, looser shapes, are rounded out with shredded denim and pastel tye-dye jackets. The clothing was accessorized with colorfully-streaked hair and frosty lipstick. Dressed to impress, the models walked a runway that bordered a giant swimming pool filled with inflatable dolphins and reptiles.
Fortunately, photographer Sima Koreniviski also got some backstage access, proving that behind-the-scenes was just as fun as being on the runway! Normally, I would say that maintaining a sense of optimism is anything but "mindless" -- it's actually a lot of hard work! -- but with garments this cheerful, it just might be true.
