Candle-Powered Heating Devices

The Egloo Cheap Heater is a Terracotta Alternative to Room Warming

For only 10 cents a day, this cheap heater will warm up your room using candles. Designed by an Academy of Fine Arts student in Rome, the Egloo looks like a burger and can heat up a room at a mere fraction of the cost compared to other space heaters.

The Egloo comes in three styles: natural, red and shiny black enamel. Currently seeking finances on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, the Italian invention uses less electricity by storing the heat and energy of burning candles in its terracotta base. The heat is then released gradually. In addition to the base, the cheap heater consists of two domes and a grill. It requires four candles and less than 5 minutes.
