I'm not going to lie, most of Charles Negre's work boggles my mind. Although I can easily appreciate it on a rather superficial level due to its eccentric nature and exceptional execution, I can't help but feel that there is meaning behind each image that I'm missing.
As a recent ECAL graduate, Charles Negre seems to operate on another plane. From dioramas to oddball magazine shoots, he does it all. Described as a "creative hybrid" by It's Nice That, Charles Negre is an artist who I will definitely be keeping tabs on.
