Indianapolis Trucks are Offering Food to the Homeless Community

Thanks to their flexibility and ability to move from place to place, charitable food trucks are a great way to connect with different communities and offer support if possible. A great example of this is Indianapolis' favorite food trucks with Friends of Fred Food Truck Company who "made sure people who are homeless don't go to bed hungry."

During the Fourth Annual Food Truck Rally this year, nine participating food trucks handed out free food and coast from six to eight pm. The initiative was made possible by Wheeler Mission who donated a truckload of supplies, and the nine food trucks that gave out between 30 and 50 meals to people in need. According to news sources, "about 300 people stopped by for food, hygiene products, and the essentials to survive the hard winter."
