French watchmaker Bell & Ross and designer Alain Silberstein collaborate on a striking trilogy of ceramic watches that are simultaneously slick and playful.
The range takes the Bell & Ross BR 03 silhouette as a string point. The body of each timepiece is made in "pure black ceramic casting" and features a black dial. So far, the design is kept minimalist in aesthetic but Bell & Ross and Alain Silberstein add a twist with a few whimsical elements. In particular, the collaborators experimented with bold colors and different shapes for the minute hands—a great example is the "S-shaped ticker indicating the passing of seconds."
The playful Bell & Ross x Alain Silberstein ceramic watches are available as a limited-edition collection. The brands make each timepiece in just a couple of hundred units.
