Industrial Designer Chen Chen Makes Cement-Filled Budweiser Nun Chucks

Mixing materials that would never normally be thrown together creates very interesting pieces as illustrated by Industrial Designer Chen Chen and her cement-filled Budweiser nun chucks. Based in New York, it’s no surprise that the designer has no shortage of inspiration for all her creative designs.

The cement-filled Budweiser nun chucks are a creation by the designer made from none other than Budweiser beer cans filled with cement. This piece is appropriately named the 'American Ninja' Nun Chucks. They look to be deadlier than real nun chucks as most would be completely unsuspecting at harmless beer cans.

The cement-filled Budweiser nun chucks are not her only creative design endeavour. Chen Chen has made 'Cold Cuts' coasters from various materials, and a vase with foam, glass and rope.
