Mos Def Self-Promotes While Designing For Adidas

Artist Mos Def plays shoe designer once again, this time for Adidas.

His album cover for Dead Prez’ 2004 is the main inspiration for the new sneakers. The bandanna images blend in with black, a great touch and a vocal point in the whole design.

For now, it’s just a concept and not yet available for sale. Mos Def cemented his reputation as a rapper, poet, producer, actor and even in fashion, as this shoe design is not his first; he previously collaborated with Converse.
