Fashion Created Behind Bars

On September 17th, inmates held a fashion show in the El Salvador prison Rosa Virginia Pelletier in Ilopango, San Salvador. They showed off casual fashions created within the prison walls on an improvised catwalk.

Fashion aside, the Rosa Virginia Pelletier prison only has accommodations to house around 300 prisoners but actually contains over 700.  Children and babies are also within the prison walls living with their mothers; they can live there until they are five years old.
