For anybody with cats, this is for you. The CatGenie litter box is an automated litter box that handles the ever so daunting task of cleaning up after your cat(s).
The cat uses the bathroom and when the machine is turned on, a mechanical scoop comes down and sits in the box while the litter swirls leaving only the defecation behind. The arm then lifts up and deposits the waste into a tube that shoots it through a line straight to the toilet.
The process does take a long time (around 40 minutes) and it's suggested that it be run 2-3 times a day. You also need to be at least 8 feet of both a power outlet and a toilet or laundry drain. It does sound slightly inconvenient, but it's much better than sticking your head anywhere near a tainted litter box.
