Catawba Brewing Co. is getting in some serious peanut butter jelly time. The beer company just announced it will be creating a beer in homage to the iconic PB & J sandwich.
The brew, which is currently in the works, is supposed to be made with aged raspberries and roasted peanuts -- and of course, your average beer ingredients. The Peanut Butter Jelly beer will be a brown ale but it is meant to recreate "childhood goodness."
Unless you have a peanut allergy, you have undoubtedly had a PB & J sandwich packed in your lunch at some point in your school life. However, adults crave the classic flavor combination now and then too, so this beer is perfect for adult palate.
