A cartoon mashup rarely comes any sweeter than this awesome interpretation of Simpsons characters as Spider-Man villains. Pity poor Milhouse, who seems to be as lousy at being Spider-Man as he is at pretty much everything he attempts on the Simpsons.
There are some excellent casting choices as villains, such as Bart as Shocker, Homer as the Kingpin, Nelson as Venom, Sideshow Bob as Elektro, Moe as the Green Goblin, Professor Frink as Doctor Octupus and my personal favorite, Ralph as the Sandman. With all the movie crossovers happening these days, as was seen in the Avengers, this illustration could be a feasible film -- or at least, here's hoping.
The cartoon mashup was drawn up by Terry Ververgaert, who is even offering a free download of an ultra high-resolution version of his illustration for poster-printing purposes.
