Carolyn Kinnaird's Designs are Delicate, Organic and Futuristic

Carolyn Kinnaird introduces a rather wiry tweak to the slew of geometric-inspired jewelry that has been coming out of the woodwork lately. Instead of simply relying on the sharp shapes that geometry offers for some interesting accessory pieces, Carolyn Kinnaird adds thread and wire to liven things up.

A recent graduate from the Jewellery & Silversmithing BA program at Edinburgh College of Art, Carolyn Kinnaird's work "is inspired and developed from an abstract view of the world that surrounds [her]." From random colors and linear patterns to drawings and photography, her jewelry designs are delicate and organic with a futuristic feel. Aside from the use of eccentric shapes and patterns, Carolyn Kinnaird's use of bright colors is what really draws people in.
