Stackable Character Cans

Noble Rey Brewery's Canned Drinks Feature Quirky Figures

Most canned drinks include a small lip that allows the containers to be conveniently stacked atop one another, but few packaging designs take advantage of this feature for anything other than storage and shipping. For the release of its Off the Leash, Baracus, Golden Rey and Steampunk beers, Noble Rey Brewing Co. decided to make stacking a central feature.

Each can boasts a two-sided design that includes an illustrated body and head, which make up the characters that identify each different type of beer. When two of the same cans are stacked atop one another, they form a full-bodied character.

Noble Rey Brewing Co. implemented this design as a way to make these beer cans especially hard to miss when they are displayed in this manner.
