Photographer Jill Greenberg's Series Involves Taking Candy from a Baby

Photographer Jill Greenberg's 'End Times' photography series literally involves taking candy from a baby (or several). This intriguing series captures the tear-basted cheeks of small children after Greenberg gives them a lollipop and then takes it away. The result is pretty much what you would expect -- these adorable kids were outraged.

This may seem cruel at first glance; after all, Greenberg is purposefully making these little darlings cry. However, she is quick to point out that kids cry all the time. They are overly emotional and as many parents can attest to, they often use tears to get what they want (be it candy or toys).

The 'End Times' series captures some extremely interesting reactions to candy deprivation. Each child contorts their face in a different way. While they all cried, some appeared genuinely hurt and others appeared to be having extreme temper tantrums.

These tear-filled photos perfectly showcase what happens when you take candy from a baby.
