An unconventional candle range is made available to consumers who have interest and insight into the world of architecture. Created by Yield — a design studio from Florida, the offerings feature three fragrances of candles and incense sticks. The inspiration for said aromas, however, will have one quite surprised.
With its latest candle range, Yield pays tribute to some of the greatest architects of the 20th century. The project is an attempt "to distill [a] sense of place" through an indirect sensory experience. For the insense and candle range, the founders of Yield chose three of their favorite architects. This includes Frank Lloyd Wright, John Entenza and Carlo Scarpa. Each scent carries some note that is intended to refer to that particular architect's style and approach to design.
The candle range also boasts a architecturally informed inscense holder by Lauren Ytterbom.
